New year, it’s time for new software releases. Presented in absolute preview at the recent Texprocess, the new version 20.19 of Cad Assyst and 3D Vidya are officially released at Digital Days 2020, from 28th to 30th January, at the Assyst headquarters in Lainate (MI).
Vidya Sketch by Assyst
Announced and long awaited, here is Vidya Sketch, the Vidya add on, designed for stylists, creatives and designers, who can easily sketch the garments directly in 3D. By assembling predefined 3D blocks and modifying them freely, you can give free rein to your creativity, while increasing the coordination between locations and departments. The simulation of the garment in 3D can be shared, modified in real time and continues in the product development process for the phases of sizing, varianting and distribution. The digitization of processes allows companies to be faster and faster on the market and with increasing efficiency.
It is in product development that Vidya 3D shows its full potential, further enhanced with the 20.19: close integration between 2D and 3D, accurate material simulation, realistic SOOI avatars, fitting and posture control thanks to the iSize anthropometic census avatars and live rendering for high-quality presentations.
And for the creation of catalogues and sales presentations, Vidya Digital Photo Studio, for the creation of product lookbooks in every variant and combination with or without avatars and also in the “folded” version, ideal for shirts for example.
And the high-quality rendering of Vidya 3D brings the products directly into the digital e-shop, even before the first physical garment is made. Instantly the products also enter the Virtual Showroom, in all possible variants, ready for retailer orders, which integrate directly with the Assyst PLM.
