There are eight districts of the textile-clothing Mediterranean studied in their specificity and their strengths and weaknesses in the study related to the project TEX-MED Clusters, which aims to improve the overall competitiveness of the textile clothing of the Mediterranean area by promoting cooperation among the districts in the industry and among SMEs that belong to it.
The study was presented to the Industrial Association of Prato, the project leader, during a meeting of the Council who was able to acquire information on the districts of Sabadell (Spain), Thessaloniki (Greece), Tunis and Monastir (Tunisia), Alexandria (Egypt), Bethlehem (PA), Amman (Jordan) , as well as on the same district of Prato.
