Euratex, the European textile and apparel confederation, organizes the event “Best in partnerships – Textile & clothing sector invites partners for industrial dialogues” that will be hosted in Brussels on June 9th at Stanhope Hotel. The aim of the event is to find new areas of potential cooperation, identify common challenges and ways to tackle them together among textile and clothing companies and industries of other sectors. It will consist of five ‘Industrial Dialogues’ between the entrepreneurs from different areas, in order to improve collaborations. The opportunities for making clever and profitable partnerships are not exhausted – it is written in the presentation of the meeting – but much more can be achieved in unexpected areas. The speakers will be Ietje Klaver from Ecoalf & Isabelle Spiegel of Arcadis that will talk about circular economy; Adam Hainsworth from AW Hainsworth & Sophie Blondel, Sofitel Brussels Le Louise that will discuss on the topic of creative industries; Armando Branchini of Altagamma will give a speech on education and skills, while Jean-Paul Depraetere, of Escolys Textiles and Munksjo (TBC) will talk about international trade.
