2206

benettonBenetton Group confirms the decision to stop using angora wool in all its collections sold around the world. The Italian company writes on its website: “Our garments are manufactured with the utmost respect for the welfare of nature, people and animals. Regarding angora wool in particular, and as per our Code of Conduct, we have always followed particularly stringent guidelines to guarantee the use of only ethically-sourced materials. In line with United Colors of Benetton’s long-standing commitment to social issues – including animal welfare – we have already stopped the use of angora in our production. Once current inventory is sold, no more angora products will be available in the stores”.
