A new range of yarns from recycled material and the acquisition of a company specialized in the recovery of synthetic fibre and thermoplastics. These are the most relevant news about RadiciGroup, the international manufacturer of polyamide, synthetic fibres and performance plastics for textile, at the beginning of 2020, and they are both related to sustainability.

Towards sustainable textiles

Renycle is a new range of yarns obtained from recycled nylon, it reduces the need for new raw materials of fossil origin, thus decreasing the overall environmental impact while providing same the high-level technical characteristics the market is accustomed to. Moreover, it is 100% recyclable at the end of its life. The new yarn is aimed for the demands of textile flooring, rugs and fitted carpet, but also fashionwear. RadiciGrup has also announced the acquisition of Zeta Polimeri, an Italian company with thirty years’ experience in the field of reusing polymers and thermoplastics.
