Milan hosts the Mittelmoda fashion show

Mittelmoda Fashion Show Special Edition 2013 for Lectra at Alcatraz _ Milan showcased early this month 26 collections (both menswear and womenswear and complete with accessories) coming from all over the world. The Prizes have been awarded as follows: For the Most Creative Collection (Euro 2500 + Kaledo Suite Lectra) offered by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, together with Lectra Italia (Kaledo Suite_Licenza Kaledo Style includes a 3-day training at Lectra HQs): Gianluca Viscomi and Alessandro Canti (Italy) from the School Afol Moda. For the Best Experimental And Research Collection (Euro 2500 + Kaledo Suite Lectra) offered by Fondazione Industrie Cotone Lino and Sistema Moda Italia, together with Lectra Italia (Kaledo Suite_Licenza Kaledo Style includes a 3-day training at Lectra HQs): Virginia Burlina, from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp. Lectra Fil Rouge Defile (Lectra Section). Lectra Computer complete with licence for design, Kaledo Style, for modelling, Modaris, and for placement, Diamimo, for the best collection projected, designed or created with at least one of the suite kaledo programs while presenting a red touch (the “fil rouge”) in the collection: Maddalena Mangialavori, from London College of Fashion.  Furla Accessories Award (Euro 2000), for the most innovative collection in the concept, functionality, esthetic, and experimentation of materials offered by Furla spa: awarded to the bags collection made and presented by Virginia Parisi, from Accademia di Costume e Moda. Dinamica® Eco-Chic Award (Euro 2000), for the best collection made only with ecological or natural fabrics offered by Dinamica®: awarded to the Uruguayan couple Mercedes Arocena e Lucia Benitez, from the EUCD Escuela Universitaria Centro de Diseno. Benetton Award, for the most global style collection, consisting in an internship at Benetton offered by Benetton Group  assigned to Maddalena Mangialavori, London College of Fashion. The Korean finalist Kim Seung Hwan from Istituto Marangoni was awarded the Queen of Love Chair/Award for the most versatile collection offered by Design of Love
