The Russian market for textile machinery is seeing a significant growth“, said Alessandro Zucchi, chairperson for ACIMIT, “The local textile industry is investing in new technologies, also due to the intervention of the local authorities in the attempt to replace outsourcing textile materials for a more localised production”.

Creativity, sustainability, quality and reliability make textile technology made in Italy a global leader andĀ a major purveyor of textile machinery for the Russian market. In 2017, the Italian export to Russia was worth ā‚¬20 million, whilst the first months of 2018 saw an 84% increase in value compared to the same timeframe the year before.

“The institutional stand represented by ACIMIT/ITA confirms that, even with a dense exhibition schedule, which includes the ITMA Barcelona, there is in our Association and its firmsĀ a strong will to further foster a profitable relationship with the Russian textile market”, concludes Zucchi.

TECHTEXTIL Russia 2019 will take place in Moscow, from 19-22 March. ACIMIT/ITA will be showcasing in the Hall Forum, booth FC 140.
