Since 1957 Biancalani manufactures textile machines for fabric finishing. Currently Rossano, Rossana and Massimo, sons of the founder Fiorenzo, lead the company and the third generation is already an integral part of the staff.
Biancalani has a large sales network and can offer technical support and process technology consultancy to end-user customers of their machines all over the world.
«Our organization – said Rossana Biancalani, commercial director – has allowed us to explore new textile sectors and for many years we export more than 80% of our production».
The company is well-known for Airo, who carries the fabric in an air jet, and has also developed Airo 24 (continuous tumbler) for every type of fabric, and Brio 24 for drying and giving optimum dimensional stability to knitted fabrics.

Massimo Biancalani, responsible for developing new products, explains: «Airo 24, similar to Airo but in continuous and open width, is a project designed to not stress the fabric and increase its production. It is able to carry very light to very heavy fabrics, such as terry fabric, fake leather or silk».
The propensity to innovate has enabled Biancalani to consolidate its presence in fields of automotive, furniture, home and technical fabrics as well as clothing.
The company, wich offers job to many other outer activities, has always anticipated the times: «The Italian National Industry Plan 4.0 – commented Rossano Biancalani, chairman of the BoD – suggests improvements in the connectivity between machines and operators. Some of these procedures have been common to us for years, for example with remote assitance we can monitor the operation of our machines via the Internet: at the request of the customer, we intervene directly on the software, without the presence of our technicians in place».
