Art and color take center stage at the Prato Textile Museum

Art and color are the protagonists of the exhibition “Feel the Contest: the thread that unites inspiration and creation,” running from July 3 to September 27 at the Textile Museum in Prato.

The exhibition, organized by Feel the Yarn, will showcase the 34 outfits created by the designers selected to take part in the final of a “Color”-themed contest.

Union between Art and Fashion

Irene Pietrobono’s works from the “ArteMonium, Ariadne’s Thread: Matter Beyond Form” collection will be on display alongside each piece. The paintings, inspired by the shape and color of each outfit, will also be on display during the three-day Pitti Immagine Filati #99 event.

The artist expressed herself through the use of yarns and samples also coming from spinning mills associated with CPF – Consorzio Promozione Filati.

Over the years, the trend of merging art and fashion has been confirmed by the most famous Italian and international designers who have created garments that are true works of art due to their lines and use of materials.

For this edition of the Contest, we wanted to celebrate this perfect union, creating a show that could concretely showcase the creativity of our designers.

We believe this is a truly excellent opportunity to once again emphasize the importance of companies working together to support young people in finding their place in the world of work.

Leonardo Mannelli, President CFP
