Parmel solutions use camera systems to capture materials to be cut and, once digitized, they process the data so the material can be cut precisely according to the desired shape. SAMAB 2025: Booth D10

Parmel solutions have been used in the apparel Industry for more than 32 years. However, this technology is not limited to fashion alone – it is also applied in various other industries such as automotive, furniture, and aerospace, as well as any sector where flat materials, particularly single layers, are cut.

«Our technologies take a photo or scan of the fabric or material, display it on the screen, load the corresponding cut file, position it correctly, and then proceed with the cut. This ensures maximum precision and material efficiency» explains Peter Felber of Parmel. «In simple terms: “What you see on the monitor is what you cut on the cutter”».

The company genuinely cares about its customers. «For over 32 years, I have personally maintained close and trusting relationships with all of our clients» comments Felber. «We provide support promptly and reliably – even without binding contracts. Our focus has always been on service, flexibility, and long-term partnerships».

The reason to be at SAMAB

A detail of the cutting head

Parmel has a deep connection to Italian customers: over the past 30 years, the company has sold more systems in Italy than in its own home country, Germany. «Italians are highly innovative and open to new technologies, which makes this market especially exciting for us» states Felber. «At SAMAB we expect inspiring ideas and the opportunity to strengthen our presence in Italy even further. I’m truly proud that Parmel is part of this event».

Together with its partner Viviana Norbis from Emerald Cad, at SAMAB Parmel presents a new generation of state-of-the-art single-ply cutting machines showcased alongside Parmel’s Matching solution.

«We’re looking forward to engaging in many interesting conversations with customers and partners. Events like SAMAB are not only great for showcasing technology – they’re also invaluable for building relationships and sharing interesting ideas».

The integration of the latest technologies in the fashion Industry

« AI, IoT, and automation offer exciting opportunities to make production faster, more flexible, and more sustainable» says Felber. «Yes, the industry is undergoing significant change – driven by new technologies and changing demands. But there will always be a need for cutting solutions. In fact, developments like digital printing make the demand for precise single-ply cutting systems even more essential».
