Since 1965, Martin Group has been producing continuous adhesive presses and double working trolley fusing presses with a membrane pressure system, distributed in over 30 countries. SAMAB 2025: Booth D16
.
With 60 years of experience in the field, Martin Group is a reliable partner for shoulder part bonding, shirt thermo-adhesion, piece bonding, transfer, foil transfer, sublimation on cut garments, and sublimation on finished garments.

Versatility and high quality standards
«Our competitive edge – states CEO Gianluca Benassai – lies in the flexibility of our products and the completeness of our accessory range. Our fusing presses are used wherever garments, shirts, leather goods, saddlery, furniture, thermal printing, and automotive components are manufactured, with specialized solutions for each sector».
Thanks to this versatility, the company effectively meets the needs of a diverse clientele while maintaining high quality standards. It guarantees support within 24 hours in Italy and within 48 hours globally, leveraging a widespread distribution network spanning over 30 countries – from the United States to Australia.

Technological innovation and Industry 5.0
Martin Group has implemented Industry 4.0 and 5.0 systems that enable full traceability and verification of the production process.
«Our systems – explains Benassai – allow us to always monitor the production workflow and the quality of thermobonded garments, with the ability to retrieve specific processing data at any time».
Automation is focused on specific production stages, such as final piece collection, which is handled by in-house developed electronic stackers.
«AI – Benassai notes – currently plays a limited role in our field, where staying competitive increasingly depends on highly customized and intricate processing steps. Operator expertise and craftsmanship still carry significant weight. While AI may be applicable in some phases, it is premature to consider it central to our operations».

Showcasing at SAMAB 2025
At the upcoming SAMAB 2025 exhibition, Martin Group will unveil 3 flagship models, all equipped with Industry 5.0 modules:
- the new OLX600N-OT-SH collar and cuff thermobonding press, featuring compact dimensions and ultra-low energy consumption;
- the MEPP 130, equipped with the original bladder pressure system patented in 1965;
- the top-of-the-range OTX160, fitted with a cold prefeed conveyor belt, a three-lane automatic unloader, and a dual-roll unwinding and rewinding module for full-roll thermobonding.
«After our last participation in the early 2000s – concludes Benassai – we are proud to once again showcase our machines at an event that, I hope, will mark the beginning of a new era of growth for the Textile and Apparel Industry. SAMAB is a valuable opportunity for exchanging ideas and engaging with long-standing clients and potential new partners. I also expect some international visitors, given Italy’s well-established reputation for pioneering the best engineering concepts in textile machinery».
