Over the years, Caron Technology, a company vertically specialized in fabric spreading, has kept its production in Italy and invested in R&D to make its systems increasingly efficient, intelligent, and connected. SAMAB 2025: Booth A01

From the very beginning, Caron Technology chose to focus on a single phase: fabric spreading. Specializing in just one process has allowed the company to become an expert in a field where success is determined by attention to detail.
Customised projects
«It’s not difficult to build a machine that spreads fabric, but it’s a whole different challenge to spread it well, especially when working with living materials that react differently depending on their composition, elasticity, humidity, etc.» comments Giulio Gallo, CEO of Caron Technology.
«We have never compromised on quality and have put all our know-how at the service of our customers».
Each machine is born from real needs, offering customized, high-performance solutions ready to meet the challenges of the future. «This commitment has led us to also file several patents related to the spreading process of flexible materials».

Technologies’ real advantages
At SAMAB, two of Caron’s most recent innovations take center stage:
- Elite, the new spreading machine that encapsulates the best of the company’s technological advancements from recent years;
- Spider, a multi-roll spreading system integrated directly into the machine. In a context where production increasingly involves small batches and many different rolls, this automated, API-controllable solution represents a major step forward in terms of efficiency.
«Today, IoT technologies, web applications for real-time monitoring, data collection and analysis systems, as well as optical vision and AI, are already an integral part of our solutions» says Gallo.
For Caron, technology is not just about reducing time and costs: «it must deliver real advantages, providing constant and complete control over how the system operates, allowing for fast and targeted interventions.

Rethinking the Way We Do Business
The company has always believed in technology as a strategic lever – not to chase the future, but to help shape it. However, for Caron, innovation doesn’t just mean developing new technologies; it also means rethinking the very way of doing business.
«We believe in an ethic that puts respect at the center: respect for the work of others, for people, for the relationships we cultivate every day – a sort of ‘Ethics 6.0’. In a market where often only numbers seem to matter, where everyone claims to be a market leader, where everyone claims to have the best technology, we continue to believe that value should also be measured differently: in the quality of relationships, in corporate culture, in the mindset with which challenges are faced.
Turnover is important – without it, there is no moving forward — but true growth is a shared idea, a way of working, a way of thinking».
