IMA can rely on consolidated experience in the development and production of machinery for fashion and clothing industry, combined with the freshness and dynamism of a young and highly motivated team. SAMAB 2025: Booth A19

.

IMA specializes in the development and production of advanced systems for spreading and cutting, cloth-rolls handling and management systems, mattress labeling, as well as digitization and CAD solutions, and dedicated software to optimize the organization of a fully digitized, automated, and interconnected Cutting Room 4.0. Its technology enhances performance, reduces consumption, and aims for the sustainable use of energy resources.

Solutions presented at SAMAB

At SAMAB, IMA presents a solution for the Italian and European markets, where production volumes have decreased in favor of greater flexibility, resulting in increasingly fragmented and diverse outputs—high-quality, mostly made-to-measure garments.

At IMA’s stand, visitors can explore a line similar to the single-garment setup, featuring an upstream feeder, model IMA 868.16, and the latest-generation multi-layer automatic cutting system (3 cm), model 922.30, equipped with the new AMI management software.

There’s also a new feature: a connected and modular mannequin designed to modernize the couture bust.

The company also invites visitors to its showroom at the headquarters in Palazzolo s/O (BS), where it will showcase the rest of its production, particularly two spreading and cutting lines:

  • One for medium-low production;
  • One for mass production with the Typhoon HD cutting system, developed specifically for large-scale production (particularly for denim and composite materials).

To conclude, this year’s major innovation: IMA’s single-layer cutting system.

Recent Technologies in Fashion Manufacturing

Mirella Sardini, IMA President

According to IMA, the integration of the latest technologies – AI, IoT, and data analytics – is a strategic opportunity for the sector.

«As a company specialized in the production of fabric spreading and cutting machines, we are strongly focused on the intelligent digitalization of processes,» explains Mirella Sardini, IMA President. «Thanks to IoT, we can connect our machines to the customer’s enterprise systems to monitor production in real time, improve predictive maintenance, and optimize operational efficiency. With AI, we are developing solutions that learn from production cycles to suggest optimal cutting parameters and reduce waste».

IMA’s solutions integrate horizontally with the entire CAD/CAM ecosystem and with existing fabric handling systems in customers’ facilities, creating a truly connected, flexible, and intelligent textile production line. «We believe that technological innovation is the engine of competitiveness, and our product roadmap fully reflects this vision».

#AlwaysEvolving
Always evolving” is a powerful message that evokes adaptability, responsiveness, competitiveness, and growth. The idea of continuous innovation embodies both IMA’s Mission and Vision: on one hand, the goal of meeting customer needs; on the other, the constant search for cutting-edge solutions – not only to keep pace with the times, but to look ahead to the future.
