With 2Capture, images of pattern pieces can be quickly digitized; the 2Design pattern-making package allows users to edit digitized files or create new designs easily and precisely; 2Tetrix is the software dedicated to manual or automatic nesting, with maximum efficiency. The 2D suite is now also available for subscription, on www.morgan-dynamics.com, but without the Cloud’s risks.
In addition, MorganTecnica has created Mastermind, a modular managing software that act as the brain of the cutting room. It optimizes production flow and facilitates immediate communication between design and production, with all the various departments involved.

Technologies at SAMAB
MorganTecnica has always been an enthusiastic promoter of SAMAB, believing that it is essential to have a landmark B2B event in Italy for technicians and suppliers in the fashion manufacturing world.
At the event, the company is presenting the Ply1 Delta, the latest evolution of Single-ply cutter Ply1, featuring more advanced technology. It is extremely versatile, fast, accurate and multipurpose – ideal to produce samples, prototypes or fabrics with repeating patterns, as well as for cutting technical and composite materials. The Vision Scan Sigma vision system enables the Ply1 Delta to automatically detect the contours of pieces and cut them precisely.
There are also updates for the company’s flagship multi-ply cutter, the Rex: new design, enhanced electronics for superior performance and greater operational accuracy and cut quality, and a revamped operator interface and software for better usability and diagnostics management.
The Rex has a compact footprint and can be split into two parts for easier transport. Furthermore, it is designed with sustainability in mind and boasts two patents for energy recovery:
