Porini since years distributes a well-established ERP vertical solution, based on Microsoft Dynamics technology, for textile, footwear and apparel companies. The new version, available on cloud as well as on premise, is called Porini ERP for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the first project with a fashion customer in Germany just started. The Porini offering further increased some time back while including a CRM solution for loyalty fashion retail sector and Porini’s own retail solution (Cocai POS). All these products form the Porini 365 Suite, which insists on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Recently several solutions in the area of Business Intelligence and machine-learning have been added to the Porini historical range of products, already implemented at some of most re-known players of the fashion business in Italy and abroad. Among these additions, a solution pops-up in terms of innovation and relevance: PowerForecast. It is a cloud based demand planning, forecasting and replenishment solution oriented toward a “digital supply chain 4.0”. It allows to obtain more accurate forecasts, thus optimizing stock and service levels. It fits perfectly with companies of all sizes and produces consistent forecasts on both small and big data volumes, thanks to the scalability provided by the cloud architecture. It is possible to reduce losses for out of stock and achieve a better planning and resource utilization. The input can be data series coming from different sources (ERP system, excel, retail). The core feature of PowerForecast is an automated forecast algorithm selection and forecast self-adjustment. The best forecast method will be utilized without the need for human intervention.
