The total number of participating designers (all aged between 22 and 35) was 27. Their challenge was to create two knitwear looks with yarns supplied by 28 companies associated with the Consorzio Promozione Filati. Raquel de Carvalho was associated with yarn producer ISY by Torcitura di Domaso. All ten finalist garments were exhibited during the last edition of Pitti Filati in the stand dedicated explicitly to the Contest.
