Sporty chic

Classic, sport, fashion, while maintaining their connotations, contaminate each other in the shirting fabrics by Leggiuno for Fall-Winter 2014–2015.

The stripe is becoming a cult and it’s presented in multiple versions. Important are the solid, the moiré effects, the play of different structures. Jacquard is absolutely trendy, from dobby to floral. Colour combinations range from blue and purple, blue-grey-brown, to green, brown, yellow. The trend is made of dark colours with little contrast or deep dark colours contrasted with the fluo colours typical of the 80’s (orange, yellow, blue).

The Classical proposal offers new double twisted and twisted fabrics for a rich shirt, weaved but never heavy. Colours ranges from classical blues to the preppy, British, Anglo-American colour combination. New Jacquard, degradé effects, false solid, mélange yarns add sophisticated touch.

The Sport line is a result of a strong research and varies from solid traditional structures (oxford, panama, chambray, cavallery, dobby stretch…) to traditional and black watch tartan. Dark background on which the check is not defined thanks to the colour mix inspired by the pictures by David Whitaker. Vibrant colours that reflect the gingham iconic graphics, alternates with mélange and indigo effect. Flannel unfolds in its many versions, with soft or rustic effects and check in neutral colours, dark checks with light effect, flou colours on mélange background.

Fashion is mainly represented by Jacquard, exclusive of the Leggiuno collections: the innovation is mainly represented by overprinted and handed designs effects. Geometrical patchwork, micro graphics tie look, paisley, animals, pois, degradé and three-dimensional aspects.
