Last January, during Heimtextil 2018, the international fair for home textiles and furniture hold in Frankfurt, AIT awarded the AIT-Trend 2018 prize to the “feischee made of COEX®” collection by Maasberg for innovation in the textile sector.
Chosen as the most innovative among the novelties presented at the fair by a jury composed of three German architects and interior designers, the feischee collection made of COEX® combines the advantages of cotton as a natural fibre with the safety standards required by the contract market. The four lines of the collection – Simona, Mariam, Andrea and Veronica – are all 100% cotton made of COEX® in different weights and assortment colours, from 5 to 20 per line, to cover any need in terms of interior decoration, from the curtain to the seat and upholstered covers.
«We are very proud to share the honor of this award with Maasberg: a recognition of a new partnership that we are sure will lead to new successes and satisfactions for both – Simona Pesaro (lef in the picture, with Gunther Maasberg), president of Torcitura Padana, said – The award testifies the value of the innovation of COEX®, the result of years of research and development for the development of a natural fiber, which guarantees safety and comfort in full respect of nature».
COEX® is the only natural fireproofing fiber in the world ensuring stability and performance unchanged over time, thanks to a simple and natural regeneration system. It does not burn, does not drip, does not release harmful fumes such as dioxin and resists the highest temperatures and is washable both dry and water in any type of washing machine or industrial machine, without problems.
